Tighter environmental regulations for energy production plants

We can still deliver this year, but it is getting tighter
June 24, 2024 by
DCS Cleantech Oy

At some combustion plants, the new environmental regulations under the PIPO Regulation enter into force on 1 January 2025. After that, dust emissions may not exceed 50 mg/m3 depending on the size class of the plant – less for larger plants.

In practice, the dust emission levels required by the PIPO Regulation can only be reached with bag filters or electrostatic precipitators.

DCS supplies the world-renowned bag filters of Luehr Filter GmbH. We are still (June 2024) accepting some bag filter orders for delivery within this year.

If you need a bag filter before 31 December 2024, please contact our sales immediately at sales@dcs.fi or +358 44 730 8110. Delivery slots are filling up fast.

Regarding plant-specific environmental requirements, we recommend contacting the environmental authorities of your municipality.
